GNG High School Youth Group
At Good News Gathering, our High School (grades 9-12) Youth Group continues the discipleship process implemented in our G-KIDS and Middle School Ministries. Our Students are encouraged to examine the fundamental truths of Scripture and their practical life application in an environment that encourages questions and open dialogue. Our Youth Group is a supportive community, led by background checked Staff and Volunteers, that meets every Sunday at the Ministry Center from 6:00–8:00 PM, unless otherwise planned. Our gatherings include a mix of food, fun and in-depth Bible study, creating a balanced environment of social and spiritual development.
Engaging Meetings
Each week our meetings are designed to promote student connections and deepening faith through food, games, creative activities, team building exercises and Bible study. Our meetings foster camaraderie and a sense of belonging while reinforcing Biblical truth.
Bible Study
The study of Scripture involves exploring its meaning and relevance today. Our goal is to create an open environment in which students ask questions, share insights, and discover what they believe and why they believe it. We encourage our students to think critically about the evidence for faith.
Exploring New Places
In addition to our regular meetings, we have outings to bond our teens and explore new places. Whether its service projects like Big GIVE, learning environments like the Creation Museum or the Rankin House, or fun days at Long’s Retreat or Scene 75, these excursions are memorable and enriching experiences.
