According to Barna Research..
• A child’s faith does not vary a great deal from the under standing they have at age 13.
• The probability of accepting Christ segmented by age: Children between the ages of 5 and 13 have a 32% probability of accepting Jesus Christ as their Savior. The probability of accepting Christ drops to 4% for those who are between the ages of 14 and 18. Those older than 18 have a 6% probability of accepting Jesus Christ as their Savior.

Kids Connection is the place for students kindergarten through 5th grade. When students arrive, they are signed in by a parent or guardian. Kids Connection actually uses a whole wing at Southern State Community College.
Once everyone has arrived, they all go to Power Up. Power Up is where the lesson is introduced through skits and life application. Don't be surprised to see large pirate ships or a camp site used for visual aid for a lesson series.
Student, then break into age appropriate groups to further discuss the lesson. Teachers are equipped with lesson materials, so be assured your student is learning more about Jesus and how to apply it to their lives.
As with all age level ministries, all volunteers working with your student must complete risk management training and undergo background checks. Students are only released to their parents or guardians. Volunteers are in place every Sunday by 9:30am.
