Church doesn't only happen on Sunday morning. It's not a one time event or simply something you attend. Get involved and you will discover that your faith isn't something you do, rather its a lifestyle.

GNG University

What is GNG University?

Church isn't only about going to Sunday services and a Wednesday night Bible study, it's about doing life together. Your church family has may things to offer including their professional expertise, life experiences, hobbies and personal interests.

GNG University is a place where the family teaches the family. Classes are categorized in three areas: Biblical Based Studies, Instructional Courses and Recreational.

How to Register for classes

Most classes require pre-registration in order to attend. Please be aware of the registration deadlines for each class. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. Here are a few ways to register for classes:

  • Registration Form - Click here for a registration form. Simply fill it out and return it to the GNG Information table, the offering baskets at church or send it to the GNG office.

  • Email Registration - Once you find a class you want ot register for simply email us with your personal information (name, address, phone) and class selection(s).

  • By Phone - You can call the GNG office at 393-5383 and we will register you for your class

Class Fees and Limits

Due to the nature of some courses, you will be required to pay a lab fee. These lab fees cover anything from the cost of books to transportation. Lab fees are due at the time of registration. Make checks payable to Good News Gathering (denote on the check: GNG University). This will allow the staff an opportunity to order supplies in a timely manner.

Due to classroom size limitations and the nature of the class, many classes are limited to the number of participants and the ages of those participants. Please read all information about a course carefully.

If you are required to sign a medical release form, please do so before the day of the event. Medical release forms will be available at the GNG Information table or by clicking here.

Dropping a Class

If you register for a class and then are not able to attend the session, please call the office immediately so others can fill the spot. Since many courses require pre-registration with other organizations or the ordering of materials, refunds of lab fees will not be given unless a replacement is found.

What Courses are Available?

A variety of courses are offered during the months of June and July. Some courses span several weeks while others are only offered one day. Please note that some courses have limitiations including age and class size. There is a cost to some courses which will be noted in the lab fee section.

The website has the most up-to-date information. Information that is different from the paper catalog appears in blue.
